I used the last few days to work on some non-food related projects before I have 7 straight cake-pop orders in 12 days. The shark tags and gummy sharks in bags are for my son's preschool in a week or so. Even though his birthday isn't until August, the class celebrates all summer birthdays in May. We finally landed on sharks after a lot of persuasion away from yet ANOTHER dinosaur theme! :) This is part of his treat he is bringing, take a look!
The second project is adorable, and totally not my idea (thanks Carli). I am, however, going to use it for a ton of other themes, and it was really fun to make. A flower-based centerpiece theme with a personalized center. Jake will be turning 2 in June, and loves Cars! Take a look.
As always, I LOVE to hear feedback and ideas from all of you! I am excited to show you all the cake pops coming soon! I added a Facebook page for my business to keep up with new posts as well. Have a great week, everyone!
The next week or two will really prove if I can balance teaching, family, and a business on the side! :) I have to remember for next year how many events take place in the beginning of May. I am excited to post pictures of some of the centerpieces and cake-pops I am working on from now- mid May. Alfonso has me creating some zombie cake-pops for his son's birthday, I have graduation pops for Jody, a baby shower centerpiece for Donna with a "Bedtime stories" theme, and 1st communion chocolate-covered strawberries. The week following I will post pictures of a very cute, and simple, centerpiece idea with a "Cars 2 theme", a 21st birthday pop bouquet, and more Hellp Kitty pops, followed by a huge 1st birthday for my girl Alena!! For now, check out the clown centerpiece from AJ's 1st birthday, Meaghan's graduation invites, and a boxed arrangement for Hannah's 20th.
I would love to hear your feedback, and thanks so much for stopping by my site. This is such a fun adventure, keep the ideas coming!! :)
This week was amazing, and I can finally share a few of the things I have been working on! I was lucky enough to re-create a Hello Kitty Tea Party Invitation for Lilly's 4th Birthday. Lilly's mom found the Invite idea on someone's blog, and wanted to see if I could make it for her. Take a look:
Blog picture- very cute!
Here is what I came up with. This would be a great "Disney Princess" Tea Party invitation too if the Image was changed!
